Sandpiper Point, Point Richmond

This one of a kind home was constructed entirely over water. Featuring a glorious view of San Francisco Bay, the project required the use of marine construction techniques and materials. Carefully crafted from a variety of fine materials, the poetic design looks right at home in the marina setting.

This challenging project required careful coordination and creative solutions to the unique site and conditions. It is an example of the flexibility and technical expertise that Distinctive Builders brings to each project.

Limited access due to building over the water required that much of the construction utilize cranes and flotation rafts. Unique design melds wood, copper, steel and slate into a harmonious whole.
