Valencia Street, Davis

This 2000-square foot California Contemporary was designed and built in Davis, California. The completed project met the goals of creating a spacious, livable and pleasing custom home within a budget typically associated with tract-style housing.

The open floor plan and unique side entry foyer inventively solve the problems of a narrow lot. One-of-a-kind millwork and custom cabinetry were designed and built by the contractor. Vaulted ceilings combined with well proportioned spaces, and clear fir doors and trim, produce a home that possesses the warmth of a traditional home and the clean lines and simplicity of a contemporary design.

A side entry creatively solves the challenge of a narrow lot and the offset family room adds interest and appeal. Kitchen Design combines custom cabinetry, recessed soffit, efficiency and spaciousness to create a warm, beautiful kitchen.
